Tarot — The Emperor.
I’ve started painting the tarot series. This is a project I’ve wanted to create a long time ago, yet I kept delaying it, for I’ve always believed this theme is intertwined with fate.
I treat every one of my works with sincerity. Frankly, everyone hopes for fate’s rewards brought by earnest efforts. But across the long river of time, earnestness is never the only answer. Only I myself know whether fate’s gifts still matter at this moment.
The joy of painting is a light that breaks free from the chains of fate. Therefore, I treat each of my personal works with all my heart… and that is enough.
