《The Six Swans》

This is an illustration I recently drew for the Grimm's Fairy Tales series, titled The Six Swans. It's a relatively obscure story in Grimm's Fairy Tales. The story goes that a queen used magic to turn six princes into swans. To save her brothers, the little princess had to remain silent for six years and weave shirts from nettle. She was married to a king of a neighboring country, but was falsely accused by her mother-in-law of harming her child and sentenced to be burned at the stake. Just as the execution was about to take place, the six years came to an end. She threw the woven shirts, and the six brothers broke the curse and regained their human forms. The girl then spoke up to tell the truth, the wrongdoers were punished, and the siblings were reunited. This is also one of my recent favorite drawings, and I hope everyone will like it too.
